Dear Simon, just wanted to let you know that I am really happy with the 6 Watt LED spotlight, which replaced my 50W halogen lights. My 11W PLC light is replaced by your 5W LED 360° bulb. Since the wattage of your LED lights have been lowered up to 88%, my electricity bill will be reduced significantly. The following pictures I have taken shows the new LED lighting and that the brightness have not been compromised. Thank you.

You have gone out of the way to visit my home to evaluate the wattage and location of the downlights for your quotation, You had also been kind enough to exchange the lights when I found that I needed the brighter cool white for one of my rooms - from a cool white to natural daylight and also to provide the change very promptly.

 

The box includes 3 long mounting rods with bolts if you are mounting the garden light at surface level.

I bought the garden light to illuminate a part of the garden which is barely gets any light from the main part of the house.

After installation, the light did its job marvellously. If you are thinking of illuminating a garden path or an outdoor area, this light can either be mounted at surface level, on a raised ledge or even or even on outdoor storage structure like mine. As I had mounted mine on the outdoor storage which is about 77 cm above ground and added to the 80 cm length of the garden light (the inverted cone of the light is about 10 cm high), the illumination from the garden light is able to give a good canopy coverage. I was able to comfortably read a magazine within 100 cm from the light and if I had to search for something within 5 meters, I will not need a flash light. So if the light is mounted at ground level, I presume you will be able to make use of the illumination to find an object within a distance of about 2.5 meters. And another thing to note. It rained one night for more than 8 hours and the light worked well in the rain and even after it has stopped, proving its quality.

I envisage a night in the garden with my family and friends having a nice get together under the canopy of this garden light. It is not overwhelmingly bright but just nice for a cosy fellowship over drinks and food. On another night, if it is cool and not too humid, I can get some reading done in the outdoors with this garden light; I only need a good book, a simple chair and a nice cold drink.

Do not expect the garden light to have the same effect as your ceiling mounted fluorescent or LED light. However, if you are looking for an outdoor general lighting solution, then I highly recommend this garden light which should meet your requirements.”

Our first set of LED lights were sourced from a different local company and they were terrible. The LED lights were so badly made, more than half spoilt frequently and we had to replace close to 15 of them every few months because they broke down.

Thankfully, we found Greenmax lighting. Their LED downlighting were very well made and bright. They were also much more affordable than the previous company's version and most importantly, they have worked well. We have not needed to return to replace anything! It really was a great relief for us to not need to worry about our lights failing us! There really is a marked difference in quality between the two LED lights. We replaced our bulb and immediately found out it was brighter. Although these LED bulbs have higher purchase price, LED bulbs saved us electrical bill with pay back of about a year.

Greenmax informed that the expected life span of my LED bulb is 5 years which is longer than the Tornado bulb at 2 years. I’m convinced that Greenmax’s LED bulb is totally worth the investment and I’m very satisfied with it. So, I would absolutely recommend LED bulb to any hair salon planning to improve their lighting.

The result is very elegant to my roof deck, I installed it myself, no messy electrical wirings and no additional electric bill. The good thing is in Philippines power cut off is common due to weather condition, but with my solar post cap, my roof deck still shining with lights on the post cap.
